If your child needs medication during school hours, please inform school using the Medical Consent Form.
Our school policy on medication states:-
- No child should carry medicine.
- The only medication that staff can give to pupils is that which has been agreed through written instructions from a parent. This includes lozenges etc.
If your child needs medication during school hours:-
- You will be asked to complete a consent form which will allow a member of staff to either give your child their medicine or to supervise them whilst they take it. This includes asthma inhalers.
- Medication in school will be stored securely until it is required.
