Our Year 3 tennis team took part in skills competitions and matches for girls and boys.

We were the winners of the heats and therefore have now qualified for the county finals.

Well done to Elise, Ella, Emerson and Esme for winning 13 out of the 16 matches they played. The boys did well too. They won 9 out of their 16 matches.

On Monday 9th May we were learning about measuring mass in Maths. We have been making flapjacks by weighing out the ingredients and mixing them all together. We had lots of fun as you can see in these pictures.

It was our lunch time supervisor Kerry’s last day at Esh CofE (Aided) Primary School today. Kerry will be missed by all staff members and pupils but we wish her all the best in her new venture.

Today our year 4, 5 and 6 pupils received their certificates for their gymnastics abilities.

This term we have our new Taylor Shaw summer dinner menu. This menu runs from 14th April till 20th July.

On Friday 15th April we awarded our 100% attendance awards to all pupils who had full attendance for the January – March term.

We are delighted with the amount of children who have received this award.

After celebrating World Book Day with our Bed Time Story Night we ended the week with a non-uniform day. Everyone came to school dressed as a character from a book. We had some wonderful costumes and a great effort was made by all. Here are some pictures of everyone’s costumes…see if you can guess who all the characters are!

Our team recently took part in the School Swimming Gala at Freeman’s Quay gaining individual firsts and performing brilliantly as a team.
